Peer Screening Process

We are currently accepting inquiries from families who wish for their child to be a part of the Mayfield Preschool Program as a peer model for the 2026-2027 school year! Your child will need to be three years old by August 1, 2026 to be eligible to be a peer in the classroom. If you are interested in setting up a screening appointment, please call our main office at 440-995-7300 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. any day of the work week. You are also welcome to email our Preschool Administrative Assistant, Kim Zanella at kzanella@mayfieldschools.org for more information.

We will send you a questionnaire to get to know your child and will follow up with a phone call to schedule a screening appointment.

NEW Preschool Students
Online registration for Preschoolers who have been accepted into the preschool program as a peer model will begin in March of 2026. Students accepted into the program will receive instructions directly. Step-by-step instructions can also be accessed per the link below. Please read through these to guide you through the registration process and to see the required documents. If you have any other students already enrolled in the district, please use the Parent Portal > More > Annual Update OLR to start the registration.

Those parents requesting an evaluation will need to complete a "Referral for Evaluation" form. Please email rbell@mayfieldschools.org, or our Preschool Psychologist, Darcy Edelman dedelman@mayfieldschools.org.
